Workplane Lightplanning delivered the lighting design for Aviva’s 115,000 sq ft London headquarters at EightyFen, creating a refined and cohesive lighting environment across six floors.

The design responds to the architecture’s dramatic central atrium, using light to reinforce a sense of openness, connectivity and movement throughout the workplace. A carefully layered approach combines architectural, decorative and feature lighting to create depth, hierarchy and warmth, while maintaining the visual comfort and flexibility essential to a contemporary agile workplace.

From the arrival experience and client suite through to collaborative neighbourhoods, meeting spaces and dedicated wellbeing areas, lighting is used to subtly define character and atmosphere rather than simply illuminate the space.

The result is a sophisticated, human-centred workplace where light complements the architecture, supports Aviva’s evolving culture and enhances the experience of its people and visitors.
